Philanthropic Projects
We are longtime, active participants in the development of Washington's non-profit art institutions and believe in the power of philanthropy to make communities strong, livable and sustainable. As such, we are delighted to assist clients in developing philanthropic projects, both those of their own invention or in collaboration with not-for-profit organizations. Our goal is to clarify our clients' priorities and facilitate philanthropic activities that are exciting, rewarding and valuable to our clients and their partners.
Friday Foundation
The Friday Foundation requested our services to assist in defining its organization, from the care and documentation of art assets and associated issues to the considerations informing its philanthropic efforts. The methodical and thoughtful work by the Directors was reflected in the announcement of the Friday Foundation’s first round of grantmaking in October 2020. The grants support arts organizations and honor Jane Lang Davis and Richard E. Lang, contributing to their legacy and to a productive and creative future in Seattle.
META ARTE conceived and designed the Friday Foundation’s website to provide a point of reference for its work, and coordinated the public announcement. Read:
